ANNEX II - DRAFT MEDIES STRUCTURE
Core Group
MEDIES Leading Partners and by cooption eventually donors and/or other
very important stakeholders (Greek Government through the Ministry for
Environment Physical Planning and Public Works, UNEP/MAP, MIO-ECSDE,
UNESCO)
3-7 members, meeting regularly (at least twice per year)
Task Group
The Core Group plus key contributors – partners (Country
Representatives implementing MEDIES, specialized NGOs and Associations of
Educators)
Maximum 30 members communicating regularly electronically and meeting
at least once every 2 years
MEDIES Partners Forum:
* All those interested and involved, which will form the pool for
nominations for the Task Group. Nominations will be made by
correspondence. They will communicate regularly electronically.
* Not to be formed until the critical mass is high enough.
MEDIES Network
Educators for Environment and Sustainability. The sum of individuals
involved (to be connected electronically supplied by information
and facilitated in many ways to meet and exchange expertise and
experiences). The status of this group is that of a Permanent
Working Party of MIO-ECSDE.
Operational Coordination and Secretariat
MIO-ECSDE (Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture
and Sustainable Development)
