 A good financial basis is one of the most important
guarantees for the existence and continuity of activities
of any organisation. NGOs, though not-profit making bodies
should try to be prosperous enough in order to be able to
cover their most important projects and at the same time
remain independent. The purpose of this publication is to provide some useful
compact information that can help an NGO in seeking and
securing funds for its activities. This is a guide for the
first general approach to this difficult and complicated
subject. This publication is trying to suggest some tools
and framework of solutions to a problem common to NGOs
form all countries and especially NGOs dealing with the
protection of the environment in the Mediterranean.
