•	Strengthening the environmental component of the “Union for the Mediterranean”, the ENP and ENPI, civil society participation, integration of environment and sustainability concerns in all other policy areas
•	Active contribution to the HORIZON 2020 Initiative to de-pollute the Mediterranean
•	Promoting Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)
•	Promoting Education for Environment and Sustainability at regional level and in individual Mediterranean countries.
